DELIVERY, TERMS & CONDITIONS

DELIVERIES

The Birdcage by Joshua Thomas delivers between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. Same day delivery is available for all orders placed before 12PM daily. Delivery is charged per delivery address, per customer, at the time of ordering.

All orders that are procesed and are outside of our Delivery Zone will be refunded.

DISCLAIMER:

It's your obligation as the customer to provide us with correct and relevent information which includes the recipient’s FULL name, FULL delivery address and CORRECT contact number as well as any important information that may affect the delivery to the recipient such as building name, fenced and gated properties, aggressive dogs etc

The Bird Cage by Joshua Thomas accepts no responsibility for unsuccesful delivery attempts due to the lack of correct information provided to us by you the customer.

UNSUCCESFUL DELIVERY

During the checkout process we provide all customer the option to give authority and consent to leave items in a safe and shaded place if the recipient isn’t home. If you choose to not give consent to this and the recipient is not contactable the items will be returned back to the store. If redelivery is required an additional delivery charge will be incurred. Alternatively we can arange for the recipient to collect their items from the store.

DELIVERY TIMES / BUSINESS ADDRESS

We offer same day delivery for orders placed before 12PM daily.

We deliver between 8AM & 6PM, delivery times will vary especially at busy time such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

WE ARE UNABLE TO GAURANTEE SPECIFIC DELVERY TIMES.

SPECIFIC DELIVERY TIME REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND MAY RESULT IN YOUR ORDER BEING CANCELED (THIS MAY INCUR A $15 ADMINISTRATION FEE).

SCHOOL, OFFICE, HOSPITAL etc RECEPTIONS

The Birdcage by Joshua Thomas accepts no responsibility for delivered items that are accepted by front desk staff, reception, concierges or security personal.

DELIVERY TO APARTMENTS.

It's your obligation as the customer to provide us with correct information and relevent information which includes the recipient’s FULL name, FULL delivery address and CORRECT contact number as well as any important information that may affect the delivery to the recipient.

It is also your obligation to provide us with the correct builiding name.

DISCLAIMER:

In the event that there is an unsuccesful delivery attempt to an apartment building your items will NOT be left and will be returned to the store. If redelivery is required an additional delivery charge will be incurred. Alternatively we can arange for the recipient to collect their items from the store.

DELIVERY TO HOSPITAL

It's your obligation to check that the recipient is still in the care of the hospital you have provided us with. It is also your obligation to provide us with the correct hospital name, department, ward and room number.

CARD MESSAGE

It is your obligation to ensure the card message provided is written to your satisfaction.

The Birdcage by Joshua Thomas accepts no responsibility for incorrect spelling and grammar.

We do provide customers the opportunity to remain anonomys.

Emojis will not be included in card messages as they are hand written.

ALCOHOL

By law, alcohol cannot be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years or left unattended in the event of an unsucceful delivery attempt. Should no-one over the age of 18 be home at the delivery address, the order will be returned to the shop. If redelivery is needed a redelivery fee will be charged.

SATURDAY’S, SUNDAY’S AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

The Birdcage by Joshua Thomas does not offer Sunday and Public Holiday deliveries. If your delivery falls on a public holidays, it will be deliver on the next business day.

REFUNDS & WARRANTY

The Birdcage by Joshua Thomas does not offer refunds inline with Australian Consumer Law.

By purchasing from us you expressly agree to take full ownership and care if your chosen product as outlined below:

Hydrate well–

On arrival, cut stems 2cm diagonally and hydrate well in fresh clean water. When caring for box arrangements please check that floral foam is moist and well-watered and topped up regularly.

Hydrate Often –

Recut stems often and replace water frequently.

Adequate Ambient Temperature –

Please be mindful of where you position your flowers. Preferably somewhere cool and not in direct sunlight. Some flowers will last longer than others take the time to remove spent blooms as required.

Refunds or store credits request will not be accepted for the following reasons.

-Change of mind.

-Lack of consumer care such as evidenced by lack of hydration, lack of shaded accommodation or adequate ambient temperature even if caused by the consumers lack of knowledge or skill.

CANCELATION OF ORDERS

All cancelation must be received within 48 hour prior to the delivery day.

All cancelations will incur a $15 administrative fee.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

Each arrangements is entirely bespoke and is hand crafted & created by the florist using the freshest flowers on the day. Image photographed is an example of the colour palette and varieties of florals. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any content or packaging within equal or greater value. In the unlikely event that your order cannot be processed due to lack of stock unavailabilty we will contact you personally to discuss an alternative product.
